SOAP played a role in the production of Legends of the Roof, providing technical expertise and supporting the editing process, in collaboration with Bobby Littlejohn, Duda Paiva Company, Class 3-E and KOSMIK. This short film breaks the silence around one of society’s biggest taboos—mental health, with a focus on depression and suicide. The ‘roof’ serves as both a literal and metaphorical space, representing the mind as a battleground between the conscious and unconscious. Over six months, a collective of multidisciplinary artists explored this theme, merging their unique disciplines into a powerful cinematic experience. The film has been screened at various film houses and festivals, including Volkshotel in Amsterdam, Beton-T, TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, and De Lieve Vrouw in Amersfoort.
